Order

Click on "Consult the size guide" on the product page, which will open a table containing a summary of our sizes, and their equivalents in the various countries. We will also guide you in identifying your size by providing the equivalent measurements in centimetres.

If your order has been submitted successfully, you will see a thank you message with all the details of your online order. In the next few hours, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been processed. If you made your online purchase as a registered customer, you can also enter your personal area and check the status of your order.

Yes. If you have made your order online as a registered customer, access your reserved area and click on "My Orders”, then click on the order you wish to check. If the order is “in progress”, this means that we are preparing the shipment. The time needed to prepare a Standard delivery is around 2-3 working days If the order is marked as “shipped”, please click on the “Tracking ID” search number. You will be redirected to the website of the courier SDA where you can check the status of your shipment

If you made your online order as a non-registered user, you can check your order's status at the following link: Gap-italia.it/en/tracking In any case, including for items purchased as a guest, as soon as SDA receives your package, you will be sent an email with a link to track your package.

Shipping

Delivery charges and times for purchases made on GAP-ITALIA.IT will vary depending on the type of delivery chosen.


Standard delivery: 3.95€ ; free delivery for orders over 60€.


Click & Collect: buy online and collect your order free of charge in 5-7 working days in GAP stores or at selected OVS shops (see list).


COD: cost 2,95€ for all orders. Delivery in 3-5 working days;



* Delivery times stated are average and may vary at certain times of the year, or if there is a sharp rise in online orders (such as Black Friday).

The courier SDA will attempt another delivery on the next working day.

Some stores in the GAP ITALIA network are authorised to receive deliveries of online orders. If you wish to receive your order in store, when checking out your basket, select the option “Click & Collect” and make sure that your preferred GAP store offers this service. You will be notified by email when your order arrives in-store. To collect your order, please bring the shipment confirmation email with you to store.

You can make your purchases online at GAP-ITALIA.IT and then collect them from one of the GAP stores that offer this service. Your purchases will be delivered in 5-7 working days.

No, at this time, purchases made from GAP-ITALIA.IT can only be delivered within Italy. 

Returns and exchanges

No, it is not possible to exchange items purchased from GAP-ITALIA.IT. However, you can return your purchase by activating a return procedure, and obtain a refund at no additional cost.

Online orders cannot be cancelled.

"For all online orders on GAP-ITALIA.IT with standard delivery or using the “Click & Collect” service, you have a choice of 2 returns procedures:


In-store returns: go to a GAP store or selected OVS shops (see list) with the product you want to return and provide your order number. The amount paid will also be checked in store, net of any discounts and promotions applied to the order in question. After carrying out the above checks, we will refund you with the amount paid using the same payment method you chose at the time of purchase. This will redirect you to a page where you can select the products you want to return and confirm the procedure. Following your request to make a return, you will be sent an email which confirms that the procedure has been launched. To return your items, you must contact the courier SDA and arrange for collection of your parcel. Remember to specify to the operator that you wish the parcel to be collected, postage paid, stating that you already have the airway bill and providing an address for collection. The SDA customer code to provide, if requested, is the following: 845534. Before shipping, wrap the items to be returned using the original shipment packaging. Apply the returns label found inside the parcel.



As soon as we receive your parcel, we will check that your return has been activated correctly via the website OVS.it, within 30 working days from delivery of the items and after these have been checked for conformity. If the checks prove positive, we will refund the amount according to the payment method used."

When your request for a return is accepted, you will be sent confirmation via email. You can check the status of your returns in the “My Orders” section of your personal area, if your made your purchases online as a registered user. If you ordered as a guest, you can monitor the status of your return on this web page: https://www.gap-italia.it/en/tracking

You have up to 30 days from delivery to return your order online.

"Refunds on returned items are only paid after all the checks have been carried out on the returned order and the items are deemed satisfactory. These checks monitor the time when the return was requested, which must be no longer than 30 working days from receipt of the parcel, and the conformity of the order. Once these checks have been completed, you will receive an email confirming acceptance of the returns.


Refund method

for orders paid for online by credit card, the refund will be made to your credit card account for the value of the returned items. You will be able to view the refund on your account or card about 5-10 working days from receipt of the email confirming the acceptance of the return.


For orders made to be paid for Cash on Delivery (COD), the refund will be made by bank transfer. When making your purchase, you can enter your bank details in the space provided, which will then be used should you wish to return any products from your order. Alternatively, you can provide your bank details when you book your return online, entering them in the order tracking area. The refund via bank transfer will be paid no later than 10 working days from receipt of the returned item in our warehouse.

In our experience, cards can be refused for the following reasons:


- The data requested for the payment fail to coincide with those on your card. - A simple spelling mistake in one of the fields can cause the operation to be refused;


- you have not activated your security code. In a bid to protect cardholders from online fraud, some credit cards require you to enter an additional security code in order to confirm payment. This code is provided by your bank.


- Your card limit has been exceeded. Your bank can provide you with all the information you may require about your card and the payment options.

The payment is charged to your account as required by your card issuer

You can request an invoice when you order, by filling in the specific fields, before completing your purchase. You will receive your invoice via email.

You can use your order shipping confirmation email as proof of purchase, as it contains the summary of the items shipped and villed, with your order number, payment details and shipping address.

Yes, all prices displayed already include VAT, exactly as they do in our stores.

Giftcards and Promotions

Of course, you can buy them in store and can be purchased for amounts ranging from €5 to €10,000

No, GAP gift cards can only be spent in stores and in certain outlets in Italy. 

No, it is not possible to use discount vouchers when purchasing an GAP Gift Card.

Yes, GAP gift cards can be used to make purchases until the amount loaded onto the card has been fully spent. 

Yes, a GAP gift card is valid for 12 months from its activation date. 

No, there are no refunds on Gift Card amounts.

No. GAP also accepts no responsibility for improper use of the card.

Yes, except for other Gift Cards.

Gift Cards can be used to pay for any special offers and sale items. It is not possible to use any offers when purchasing Gift Cards.

Yes! On GAP-ITALIA.IT you can pay with valid Discount Codes or Coupons that have been supplied by GAP as part of a special promotion. If you have a valid Discount Code or Coupon, enter the code in the “Coupon” box in your basket and then click on “Add”. The total amount of your order will be automatically recalculated, net of the discount applied. 

GAP Advantages Scheme

By subscribing to the GAP advantages scheme, you will obtain several advantages such as a Welcome Offer, a Birthday Discount, a Kids Birthday Discount and other offers and promotions dedicated to members.

Subscribing is free. Just ask to subscribe at any till in a GAP store, given them your personal details and any relative required consent.

To use your 15% Welcome Offer, just ask for it to be applied when paying, and provide your personal details.

Stores

The page gap-italia.it/it/storelocator has all the information for the store you are interested in.

Items can be exchanged at any GAP store or outlet for other items or for a voucher for the same amount, within a month from the date of purchase. It is necessary to provide proof of purchase. Store exchanges are not permitted for perfumery items or underwear.

Due to the characteristics of individual stores, sometimes the range is different from store to store. Some of the smaller GAP stores may not include some departments. For more information on the range, see the store locator.

In this case, you can take it back to the GAP store where it was purchased, so as to check the problem with the manager or sales staff. Remember to take proof of purchase, together with the item.
